THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS

1.The pallet will be loaded with glass with slip sheets in between each layer. The new patented lid will be placed on top instead of the original frame.

2. The stack will now move down the conveyor to the assembly point. Articulated robot arms on each side of the conveyor system will position the longer panels at a -5° vertical position when placing them into the holes on the pallet. The Robots will then simultaneously press the panel into a 0°vertical  position allowing the top of the panel to magnetically attach to the lid. The robot arms will now back away. The conveyor table will now rotate to accept the front and back panels. After the second set of panels are attached, the conveyor table will return the pallet to its original position.

3. The stack will roll down the conveyor too the strapping machine.

4.When strapping is completed, a fork lift will take two stacks side by side and will store them on site, or ship them to a bottling facility. When placed in a trailer for shipping No airbags will be needed due to each stack being interlocked front to back and side to side.

Removing From Trailer And

Loading On To The Production Line

ELEVEN AIR BAGS ON AVERAGE WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE
SHIPPING PROCESS BY USING MY PANELS WHICH HAVE AN
INTERLOCKING DESIGN LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF
EACH PANEL.

A Fork lift driver working at the bottling facility will approach the open trailer. He will then pull both units out and either take them to the line or store them for later use. The driver will now place the unit on the line. The line tech will now cut off the strapping and pry the panel away from the lid and set the panel on the pallet upright at the edge in the holes provided, he or she will now place a rod in one of the holes for the purpose of holding up the panel. The tech will now go to the other side and remove another panel and place it on the other end of the pallet and use an additional rod to secure the panel.  Please note that the rods will not be needed as you move towards filling the pallet up, because they will just lean on each other.  Since there are two different size panels, you will need two pallets for stacking. The lid will go through with the glass and be stacked robotically.
